Beef Roast Crock Pot Recipe
Stir breaking up any brown bits on the pan until the beef base is dissolved.
Beef roast crock pot recipe. Cover and cook on high 5 hours or low 8 hours. Keep the hot pan on the stove and add the water and beef base. Add the deglazing liquid and the broth and cook covered on low for 10 to 12 hours until the beef and vegetables are tender.
Pour in water or beef broth. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle chives parsley pepper and onion soup mix over the meat.
Submit a recipe correction. Place your roast in a 4 quart crock pot. Cook on low for about 6 hours.
Place the roast on top fat side up. Place the roast on top of the vegetables and sprinkle it with the steak seasoning. Put potatoes carrots and onion on bottom of crockpot.
Cook and stir for about 1 minute. Reduce the heat to medium and stir in mushrooms and butter. Pour your soup and broth around your roast.
Cover and cook on low for 8 10 hours. Cook for 5 minutes until onions are translucent and begin to brown. To make it a little healthier i cooked it all day on low and then refrigerated it.
