Recipe For Butternut Squash Mashed
Drizzle the orange part with either 2 tbsp of oil or rub with 2 tbsp of butter.
Recipe for butternut squash mashed. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium high heat. Top with freshly chopped chives. Cut the squash into 3 4 inch cubes and place them on a baking sheet.
Prepare the mashed butternut squash as directed. Use a potato masher or fork to mash up the squash. Do not let it brown.
Roast for 30 minutes or until the squash is very tender. Roast until squash is extremely tender tossing halfway through about 30 minutes. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
Place squash and butter. Place butternut cut side down on a baking sheet roasting for about 45 minutes or until fork tender. Cook 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated mashing with a wooden spoon to desired consistency.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the vegan butter olive oil garlic cream and some salt and pepper to the squash and mix to combine into a creamy mashed butternut squash. If you want to add a flavor rub on the ingredients of your chosen flavor option.
Season with salt and pepper and add additional parmesan cheese to taste. Toss all the ingredients together and spread in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper and toss with hands to coat.
