Vanilla Pudding Cake Recipe From Scratch
Whisk the sugar cornstarch and 1 2 teaspoon salt in a large bowl.

Add the milk and vanilla and mix until combined. Add the eggs and mix until combined. In a bowl combine the flour baking powder salt and small package of dry instant french vanilla pudding.
Spread into prepared baking dish. In a large bowl combine flour sugar baking powder and salt. Pour the pudding mixture into the prepared pan.
Cook the mixture over medium heat until thickened about 5 minutes. Whisk in the egg yolks and the remaining 1 2 cup. Gently pour warm milk mixture over cake batter without stirring.
