Cooking Ground Turkey Without Oil
Use an air fryer.
Cooking ground turkey without oil. Add all the spices you need. Knead the mixture for about 2 minutes to make sure the spices are evenly distributed. Place about a pound of ground turkey in a large bowl.
Use a spoon or your hands to mix the ground turkey and spices thoroughly. Use ground turkey in place of ground beef. It is always a good idea though to brown the ground meat in a nonstick pan to keep it from sticking.
Extra oil could even make the lasagna a bit oily. Experiment with other spices if you like certain flavors. Many turkey meats these days have far less fat in them because of how the turkeys are raised and also how they package the meats in increments of fat percentage.
Pour the spices over top. Set your timer for about 3 5 minutes times the weight of your bird in pounds. Knead them all together for two minutes to evenly distribute all the spices.
For example a 10 pound turkey should cook for 35. Lower the turkey into oil the very slowly to prevent splashing. Usually the words juicy and ground turkey are not often put together but i found the secret ingredient for seriously juicy ground turkey.
Non stick or coated pans and griddles prevent food from sticking and burning and need little to no oil or butter. Place the ground turkey in a large mixing bowl. You can also use fresh ground fish or soy based foods in place of red meat.
