Recipe Crock Pot English Roast
Combine 1st 3 ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 7 hours or high for 4 5 hours.
Recipe crock pot english roast. Combine the beef broth with the worcestershire sauce and pour over the roast and vegetables. Chop the white onion one of the carrots and four cloves of garlic and layer on the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat for 7 8 hours or until meat is fork tender.

The next evening i was able to peel off over a 1 layer of beef fat that had hardened on the top and reheat the pot roast in the oven. Add the browned roast and the onions along with the thyme sprigs or dried thyme. Spray your crock pot with cooking spray place your roast in your 6 quart crock pot i used my hamilton beach programmable insulated slow cooker surround your roast with your potato wedges onion halves and carrots mix together one of your brown gravy mixes with 1 c cold water.
Put the potatoes carrots and garlic in the slow cooker. Put the english roast on top and sprinkle with salt pepper and spices. Place the roast on top of the vegetables and sprinkle it with the steak seasoning.
Top with onion and broth. Combine the mustard rosemary garlic salt thyme and pepper. Rub the beef with salt pepper thyme and olive oil.
Add the deglazing liquid and the broth and cook covered on low for 10 to 12 hours until the beef and vegetables are tender. To make it a little healthier i cooked it all day on low and then refrigerated it. Submit a recipe correction.
