In a bowl or large measuring cup add the rest of the ingredients and whisk them together.

Cook chicken pieces in a greased 9 13 inch pan for 20 minutes. I cooked it for 50 minutes. Mix together all of the sauce ingredients.
Mix french onion soup mix with apricot nectar. Remove chicken from oven and remove from pan momentarily. Place the chicken in a casserole dish and mix the other three ingredients together.
Pour 1 3 of jam mixture into pan. Season your chicken with salt pepper on both sides. Pour the mixture on top of the chicken.
Place chicken pieces back in pan and cover with the rest of the sauce mixture. This meal can easily be prepared in smaller quantities by cutting all of the ingredients in half. Add the rest of the sauce to the chicken and cook until internal temperature reads 185.
Brush half of the sauce on the chicken and then bake for 30 minutes at 350. Pour into casserole dish. Fry in oil until all sides are browned.
