Vodka Sauce Recipe With Evaporated Milk
Penne vodka sometimes called penne alla vodka marinara is a rich and flavorful pasta dish usually made with tomato sauce heavy cream and vodka.
Vodka sauce recipe with evaporated milk. Stir in vodka and bring to boil. Once cooked drain the penne then return it to the pan add the vodka and butter and stir. Add of the sauce to drained pasta.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add milk and bring to a gentle boil.
Reduce heat to medium low and continue to simmer to pasta sauce consistency about 15 minutes. Add the cooked warm tomato sauce and toss together with the pasta. Heat vodka in a saucepan with minced.
Crush tomatoes and stir in with 2 cans of tomato sauce and 1 8 ounce can water. Stir in the pureed and chopped tomatoes and add the salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 8 10 minutes so alcohol can cook down.
Pour in vodka mixture and simmer 10 minutes. Add the garlic and saute for a minute or two don t let the garlic brown. Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large deep skillet or wok either way make sure it s large enough to hold the tomato mixture.
The sauce is wonderful over any type of pasta and is very quick and easy to make. Add the evaporated milk and blend until combined. Remove pan from heat and mix in the vodka.
