Recipe Crock Pot Apple Crisp
Double for a larger pot.
Recipe crock pot apple crisp. Place a large sheet of paper towels over the slow cooker making sure it completely covers the top of the slow cooker but does not sag down onto the crisp. Stir until apples are evenly coated. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or until apples are fully cooked and crisp topping is browned along the edges.
Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or low for 4 hours until apples are tender. Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples. Place apples in large bowl.
Cover and cook on the high setting for 1 1 2 hours or on the low setting for 2 1 2 to 3 hours. Sprinkle the walnut crumb topping on top. Serve this easy apple crumble with a scoop of ice cream and you have a simple but delicious dessert all made and ready to go.
Toss with lemon juice. Add granulated sugar 2 tablespoons flour and the cinnamon. Cover the apples with this mixture.
In the same mixing bowl you can rinse and dry the bowl combine the oats all purpose flour brown sugar cinnamon and cut butter. 2 mix together flour brown sugar and oatmeal. Cut in half for 2 quart pot.
Stir until well combined. Sprinkle the white sugar and cinnamon over top. This recipe is for 3 4 quart crock pot.
