Insert the cake pops in the styrofoam block to set.

Beat powdered sugar butter and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium high speed in a medium bowl until smooth and fluffy about 2 minutes. Melt the chocolate candy wafers according to package instructions. If it looks too thick for dipping mix in vegetable shortening 1 teaspoon at a time to thin it.
Place wax paper on a clean working surface. Using a 2 inch cookie scoop drop mixture into mounds onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Insert lollipop sticks into florist s foam to stand pops upright.
Poke the pops into a piece of polystyrene or cake pop holder if you have one keeping the pops apart. Preheat oven to 180 c 350 f gas mark 4. Pipe lines of red frosting above and below the row of snowflake sprinkles.
