Recipes using apple pie filling and crescent rolls. Scoop 1 to 2 tablespoons of the apple pie filling onto each unrolled crescent roll. Open can of apple pie filling and using a knife cut apple slices into smaller chunks. Unroll the crescent dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees f. Using a knife or pizza cutter cut strips 1 apart up and down both sides of the crescent roll sheet. Top each with apple pie filling and roll into a crescent shape.
Pour into a 2 qt casserole dish ensuring the crescent pieces are on top of the pie filling. Just keep poking and slicing around until all your apples are cut into more manageable pieces. Place rolled crescents on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Press the seams together. Prepare streusel topping and divide it evenly among rolls. Bake 25 30 minutes or until crescents are completely cooked flipping crescents after 15 minutes.
Carefully roll up the crescent roll so it surrounds the apple pie filling and place it on the baking sheet. In a small bowl combine flour and brown sugar. Unroll the crescent rolls onto a large sheet of parchment paper that will fit onto a cookie sheet.
Serve warm with ice cream. Spread with pie filling. Place a spoonful to two of apples into each crescent and roll the dough.
