Recipe Butternut Squash Halloumi
Roast for 10 minutes before removing from the oven.
Recipe butternut squash halloumi. Meanwhile bring water to a boil in a saucepan. Just before serving take the squash and onions out of the baking tray and add the halloumi to the tray with any oil that remains. Pre heat the oven to 180c gas mark 4.
2 heat a drizzle of oil in a frying pan add the squash and sliced red onion sauté covered for 5 minutes. Stir the persian style quinoa and lentils into the halloumi and butternut squash with a splash of water. Place in the oven and cook for about 10 minutes or until golden.
Bake in the preheated oven until butternut squash is tender about 20 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 c. My parents came to visit recently and we took them to the sussex produce company for lunch and it was there i had this amazing warm salad.
Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and stir in couscous. 1 peel the butternut squash cut in half then quarter each half.
Meanwhile put the cooked quinoa in a large bowl. To serve combine the vegetables and halloumi with the chickpeas spices and parsley leaves. Add the halloumi and fry for two minutes on each side.
Add the squash and fry covered for 25 mins turning every so often. Roll the pastry very thinly into a 40 x 50cm rectangle and lay on a large piece of baking paper. Fry uncovered for a further 5 mins until golden and the squash is tender.
