Vodka Sauce Recipe Crushed Tomatoes
Step 4 bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.

Add the heavy cream and simmer for another 5 to 6 minutes. Stir in the crushed tomatoes to the pan and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the oil and butter and sauté the onion and smashed garlic cloves for a couple of minutes until the onion starts to soften.
Boil for 2 minutes or until thickened to sauce consistency. Cook about 1 2 hour or until all alcohol has burned off. Directions sauté onion garlic and olive oil in large sauce pot until translucent do not overcook or brown.
Increase heat and add cream vodka and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer. In a large skillet over medium heat melt butter.
