Recipe Zucchini With Cheese
The tomatoes and zucchini are combined with herbs and baked to perfection with lots of melty cheese.
Recipe zucchini with cheese. Place the sliced zucchini into a large bowl. Cook stirring occasionally until translucent and softened about 3 5 minutes. 6 small zucchini chopped about 7 cups 1 large onion chopped 1 1 2 cups crushed rice chex 1 cup shredded colby monterey jack cheese.
Pour over the sour cream and cream stir to combine. Add 1 3 cup of the cheese and stir through so the cheese is well mixed in. If you have fresh basil use that about 2 to 3 teaspoons chopped instead of dried basil.
Pour into an 8x8 cooking dish. In a zip lock bag toss zucchini salt and paprika. Step 4 bake 25 minutes in the preheated oven or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Chop the zucchini into bite sized pieces and place into the baking dish. Sprinkle cheese and remaining paprika over top. Ingredient checklist 1.
Pour into a lightly oiled 2 quart casserole. Serve the baked vegetables with grilled or sauteed meat fish or poultry. In the prepared casserole dish mix the zucchini onion tomatoes and green pepper.
Heat tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Bake 30 minutes or until zucchini is tender stirring occasionally. Add onion and reduce heat to medium.
