Recipe Asparagus Soup No Cream
To a large pan melt the butter under medium heat.
Recipe asparagus soup no cream. To use yogurt after pureeing the soup in step 3 add yogurt in last batch. In a large saucepan combine asparagus chopped onion and 1 2 cup chicken broth. Turn the heat down to low and continue to simmer for about 15 minutes until the vegetables have become soft.
In a heavy pot over medium heat melt butter. Process the mixture in a blender to puree the vegetables. Add asparagus season with salt and pepper and cook until golden 5 minutes.
Add broth and simmer. Add garlic and cook until fragrant 1 minute. Pour this into large sauce pan.
Half and half is half cream and half milk. Place them in a soup pot add the water sugar 1 teaspoon butter and salt and bring to a boil. Bring 6 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
Turn down the heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Cook onion and asparagus in oil in large fry pan over medium heat stirring often till softened i cover the pan. I watered a little sour cream down and drizzled a little more on top.
Add broth and simmer on low medium about 15 20 minutes. Perfect for a light lunch or to serve with a sandwich or a salad. Wash the asparagus and snap off the woody ends.
