Easy Vanilla Pudding Recipe
Refrigerate until chilled 3 4 hours or overnight.
Easy vanilla pudding recipe. Stir in butter and vanilla. Add egg yolks and mix well. Sprinkle sugar on milk and do not stir.
Gradully stir in milk. Return the pudding mixture back into the original saucepan and place over a medium low heat. Boil and stir 1 minute.
1 place a mesh strainer over a 4 cup measuring cup or bowl with a spout and set aside. Whisk in the egg yolks and cup 60 ml of the milk and when smooth add the remaining milk and the vanilla. Allow the pudding to cool down before transferring to the fridge.

Continue to cook and stir until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Bring to a boil over medium heat whisking constantly and scraping the bottom and sides of the pan until the mixture thickens. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Gradually stir at least half of the hot mixture into egg yolks then stir back into hot mixture in saucepan. Combine the sugar cornstarch and salt in a medium saucepan and whisk until incorporated. Make sure the mixture is nice and smooth.
