Creamy Rice Pudding Recipe
In a small heavy saucepan combine rice milk sugar and salt.
Creamy rice pudding recipe. Continue cooking until egg is set 2 to 3 minutes. Add the milk cream rice and salt to a medium sized saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Firstly we need a pudding rice or the arborio rice you use for risottos.
Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir remaining 1 2 cup milk golden raisins beaten egg and white sugar into the rice mixture. Combine egg sugar vanilla cinnamon.
In a clean saucepan combine 1 1 2 cups cooked rice 1 1 2 cups milk sugar and salt. Combine cooked rice 1 1 2 cups milk and salt in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook uncovered until thickened about 20 minutes stirring often.
Bring 1 1 2 cups water to a boil in a saucepan. Cook on low for 35 40 and stir occasionally until the rice is tender. Spoon into serving dishes.
Stir rice into boiling water. When the rice pudding appears to be still saucy remove from heat and let sit for 20 minutes as the rice absorbs the liquid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer.
The rice pudding will tend to separate a bit and not be as creamy after it thaws. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy 15 to 20 minutes. For half a cup of rice i used one cup of water and 2 cups of milk and the pudding turned out great just the consistency i was after.
