Vanilla Pudding Recipe Egg Yolk
Gradually stir at least half of the hot mixture into egg yolks then stir back into hot mixture in saucepan.

Continue to cook and stir until mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Boil and stir 1 minute. Cool for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
Bring the mixture to a boil for 1 minute stirring constantly. Meanwhile use a whisk to beat egg yolks in a small bowl. Whole milk is the base of the pudding.
